📷 bDOM for all of Germany

The image-based surface model (bDOM) at its native resolution (mostly 20 cm–1 m) per state — this catalogue lists file URL and acquisition date, the download comes directly from the responsible state agency. Unlike a laser DOM, bDOM is produced by image matching from overlapping orthophotos (DOP) — no separate survey flight, but the same aerial images photogrammetrically computed into an elevation model. Averaged to 1 m, bDOM is already part of the unified DOM1. Currently 143,530 download links (106,086 with acquisition date).

Origin: image matching from overlapping DOP orthophotos, not laser scanning — bDOM is therefore slightly less accurate at edges (roofs, trees) than a true laser DOM, but available wherever orthophotos exist.

Difference from the DOM1: the DOM1 is a unified 1 m grid across all of Germany, this catalogue links bDOM at the native resolution of the respective state source.
